How God Gives Us Wisdom to Make Profit: Discovering Financial Success in Isaiah 48:17

In today's fast-paced world, many individuals seek financial success and profit. We often strive to secure a prosperous future, and while knowledge and skills are crucial, it is often easy to overlook the ultimate source of wisdom - God himself. In Isaiah 48:17, we find a powerful scripture that reminds us that God desires to teach us to profit and to lead us along the right path. This blog aims to explore the profound wisdom hidden within this verse and how it can guide us toward financial success.

Understanding Isaiah 48:17:

Isaiah 48:17, as stated in the New King James Version, serves as a divine reassurance from the Lord, our Redeemer. In this verse, God presents Himself as our teacher and guides us toward profitable ventures while illuminating the path we should tread. This scripture reaffirms that God is not indifferent to our financial prosperities but rather desires to equip us with the wisdom and understanding necessary to make profitable decisions.

God's Integral Role in Our Finances:

Recognizing God's role in our financial endeavors is the first step towards aligning ourselves with His wisdom. As our loving Creator, God is mindful of every aspect of our lives, including financial matters. Contrary to popular beliefs that associate God solely with spiritual facets of existence, Isaiah 48:17 reminds us that God longs to guide us, helping us succeed even in the realm of finance.

Importance of Seeking Godly Wisdom:

In our pursuit of profit, it is essential to seek Godly wisdom. This wisdom exceeds mere worldly knowledge and is instead rooted in moral values and divine guidance. God knows the intricate details of our lives, understands our unique strengths and weaknesses, and can provide insights that are beyond our natural abilities. Embracing and seeking this wisdom will allow us to make sound financial decisions that align with God's will.

The Process of Wisdom Acquisition:

God is not only aware of our need for wisdom but actively teaches us to profit. However, this process requires an open heart and a willingness to receive guidance. To benefit from God's wisdom, we must maintain a close relationship with Him through prayer, meditation, and diligent study of His Word. As we draw near to Him, He will reveal His principles of wealth creation and guide us along the profitable path.

Applying God's Wisdom in Finances:

1. Stewardship: Understanding that everything we possess is ultimately God's allows us to handle our finances responsibly. Honoring God with our resources and faithfully managing what He has given us is pivotal in cultivating a successful financial future.

2. Trust and Faith: Trusting God's guidance and provision, even in uncertain financial situations, enables us to make decisions rooted in faith. This trust inspires us to take calculated risks, knowing that God is in control. It encourages us to step out of our comfort zones, be innovative, and embrace opportunities that align with God's wisdom.

3. Investment in God's Kingdom: Prioritizing the eternal over the temporal will result in true blessings. By investing our resources in promoting God's work, helping the needy, and supporting missions, we participate in enriching our lives and the lives of others. God promises to bless those who generously sow into His Kingdom.

4. Discernment: Seeking God's wisdom fosters discernment and helps us distinguish between profitable opportunities and deceptive ventures. It equips us to make choices based on moral values, ensuring that our financial gains are not at the expense of others or contrary to God's principles.

Isaiah 48:17 serves as a comforting reminder that God is intimately involved in all aspects of our lives, including our pursuit of financial success and profit. By seeking His wisdom, we can enter into partnerships and opportunities that honor God while securing our own prosperity. As we align our financial decisions with God's will, we embark on a journey where profit is not only monetarily significant but inherently meaningful and fulfilling. Let us embrace the wisdom that God lovingly imparts to lead us toward financial success and a life filled with blessings.

Entering the New Chapter. (New life, New Lady, and New Dreams)

As you know, I have been divorced for nearly 2 years.  During the time of darkness, a lady was sent to me by God, to become my best friend, my guiding light and my supporter.  Even though the damage that was done to me was great in the previous marriage, God have been restoring what I have lost.  My God is the God of restoration and blessings.

As of now, I am currently an Evangelist and still doing ministry as a Pastor. through Facebook, Zoom, and VideoPhone for the Deaf.  I have never thought that  Love will find me again.   Because she found me though mutual friend of ours, she never once stopped keeping in touch with me and continue to hold on to my heart today.  She have redirected me to my faith and reminded me that God is not finished with me yet.

My life have changed for the best.  I have gotten to meet many amazing people though different ministries and churches online.  But the best changes were with my lady, Andrea Anaya Serratos, from Mexico.  Andrea is the lady of faith.  She got the smarts and the spiritual fire inside of her.  She can interpret in 3 different languages!  I am still amazed by her capabilities.  She is an amazing painter, photographer, and unbelievably an amazing cook!

As I enter into a new path, I have became an entrepreneur.  It has many challenges but also many rewards as well.  I have learned to better my personal development and learned to be a better leader to my amazing team.  For the last two years, I have learned to think positive, change my paradigm, and live IN FAITH.  Once I learned to weed out the people who criticize my dreams and visions for my life, and attract positive resourceful people into my life, things have gotten fun for me!

My next step is to go to Mexicali and share the Gospel there to the deaf community.  My lady and I will share the Gospel and show them the Love of God.  I am so amazed by God for what He is doing for us.

If it wasn't for God, I wouldn't met Andrea, grow my business and continue to share the Gospel.  Now that I am ready to be restored and stronger than ever, I am looking forward to a new life and dreams with my lady, Andrea!

The link I have added on here is for the support and blessings from your heart and love.  There are about over 98 percent of the deaf population in the world that don't know the Love of  God and the Salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Go and click on the link and support with your love and joy.

As Mark 16:15 stated that we are to go to all the nation and share the Gospel.  Use me as God's tool and help me continue to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Thank you and we love you all very much!

Roger and Andrea.

Preaching out of Love, not for money.

I was reading a verse about the disciples were to go out and preach the Gospel.  They are to not take any gold or silver and put them in the pocket.  They were to trust God for what they need and know that their needs will be met.

Matthew 10:5-10

These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead,[a] cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, 10 nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.

Preaching is not for anyone of us to make a living off of it but to bring Salvation to others. Just as we received Salvation as Free gift but it cost the Son of God his Life on the Cross.

"Freely you have received, freely give."  Wow.. that's pretty sums it up.  As a pastor, I should preach for free, not to make a living out of it   Christ gave me free gift of Salvation and I should share the Gospel to others for free.  His Love for you is free.  His forgiveness for you is free.  So if I was to give you 20 dollars, it should be a gift, not a loan.   If I was to help you tend your yard or mow your yard, it should be out of love and desire to do so.

Which made me wonder and ponder about  something.. What if all the local pastors were do preach for free and not get paid a penny at all and earn money by going to work?  Nothing wrong with money or possession but what are our priorities?  If we put God first and obey His commandments, then we should be taken care of.  Being a pastor is a privilege, not a job.  Pastor is there to greet, help, minister, and make sure they go home as uplifted spirits.  I have seen pastors come on stage as an entertainer and not uplifting anyone's spirits at all.  If we, as pastor, have no building to preach, do we stop preaching?  No!  We keep on preaching until God calls us home.

As the bible say, it's easier for a camel to enter through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom of Heaven.  Love is much more greater than all the gold and silver in the world.  It's the greatest gift any one of us can share.

My thoughts for today.

First of all, before we became Christians, we were non believers first until someone came to tell us about Christ, His Salvation, and His finished works on the Cross.

Second of all, just because they don't believe in Him or turn away from God, doesn't mean that we should be judgmental of how they live their lives or what they believe in, or bashing them because they turn away from Christ.  We are here as peacemakers, to love them, to uplift their spirits, and to be there for them when they need our help.

Look in the Bible, there are countless of events where Jesus healed the sick that were not even believers until after they got healed.  Jesus showed the Love for you and others first before we came to Him.  We changed or transformed AFTER we wholeheartedly accept Christ as our Savior.  Anyone can say, "I am saved" but it must be in the heart not the mind.  It must be a spiritual acceptance of allowing Christ to enter your heart and feel the loving presence of the Most High God.

What can we do as Christians to those who rejects Him?  Don't condemn them but instead, PRAY for them!  LOVE them!  Let them go and God will take care fo them and go to others people to whom we can witness the Love of Christ.  We can't force anyone to accept Christ.  It must be their free will choice and we are not to interfere with it.

Christmas 2013

It's the time of the year when we all get together to give out presents, have Christmas dinner, and celebrate the holiday together with families and friends.

But what is Christmas all about?

Christmas is about our Savior.  It's about how He came into the world to bring Salvation to all mankind.  Christ came to save, not to condemn us.  He came to love, not to destroy. He came to give us peace, not problems.

I love Christmas.  It really gives me pleasure to see my kids and wife happy but most of all, it gives me much more joy when they thanked the Lord for our Jesus Christ, our Savior for all the blessings they have.

Let's thank God for all the blessings!

Journeying into 2014

The year of 2013 have given me many new challenges.  As of now, I have been a pastor for the deaf for Grace New Covenant Deaf Mission Church and Executive Director for Fort Smith Association of the Deaf.

My goals for 2014 is to continue to reach out the rejected, the lost, new people to Christ.  I love to preach all about Jesus and share the Love of Christ.  It's one of the most wonderful blessing that God have given me, to preach the wonderful Gospel.

As executive director for Fort Smith Association of the Deaf, I am facing new challenges as well.  Creating events to reach out not only to the deaf but to CODA, the hearing, and those who are interested in the deaf culture and its environments.   FSAD is looking forward to providing new connections to the deaf world, different educational classes , and empower both deaf and hearing worlds !
